Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via application, email, or other direct contact from your potential employer. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
We will use your information to perform a pre-employment background check. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill the requirements of the background check.
Your Access to and Control Over Information
You can request a copy of your background check at any time by contacting us via the address or phone number given on the DISCLOSURE REGARDING CONSUMER REPORT AND/OR INVESTIGATION (applicant release) provided by the potential employer:
See what data we have about you, if any.
Change/correct any data we have about you. (Please refer to the FCRA guidelines and the information provided on your release.)
Express any concern you have about our use of your data.
We take precautions to protect your information. When your information is submitted via the website, email or fax your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect sensitive information, that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page. This means Pre-Check maintains the same type of security that credit card companies use. The data centers hold current SSAE16 SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 Type 2 attestations. The SSAE16 SOC 1 Type 2 is an independent test of controls related to datacenter operations including physical and environmental controls. Processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy controls are our first priority.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, any portion of the background check) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
